About the role

As the Operations Manager (Medical Supplies), you will oversee the smooth and efficient operations of our medical supplies distribution business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee daily operations, including procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies.
  2. Develop and implement operational strategies for timely and cost-efficient delivery.
  3. Coordinate and monitor the supply chain from vendor selection to delivery.
  4. Monitor inventory levels, identify improvements, and implement inventory control measures.
  5. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPMD, MDA, Halal certifications).
  6. Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, regulatory authorities, and healthcare clients.
  7. Supervise procurement and inventory teams to ensure productivity and performance.
  8. Prepare operational reports, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
  9. Maintain high standards of quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  10. Address operational issues promptly, including disputes and discrepancies.
  11. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  12. Collaborate with business development to forecast demand and manage supply.
  13. Assist with ad-hoc assignments as required by management.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  2. Extensive experience (4+ years) in operations management, preferably in healthcare.
  3. Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
  5. Leadership and motivational skills, with effective communication.
  6. Knowledge of local regulatory requirements (KKM, GDPMD, MDA).
  7. Experience with KKM procurement processes is an advantage.
  8. Interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with teams and vendors.
