Job description

We are seeking a talented Drafter to join the team at Johnson Medical International Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Key responsibilities

Produce accurate and detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software

Interpret project specifications, engineering data, and sketches to develop technical drawings

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings meet project requirements

Maintain and update engineering records, files, and databases

Assist in the review and revision of engineering drawings as needed

Provide support and guidance to junior drafters or trainees

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree in Engineering Drafting, Architecture, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Drafter, preferably in the construction or engineering industry

Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks

Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and translate technical information into accurate drawings

Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
