1. 3-5 years’ experience in direct purchasing of construction materials within a main contractor environment.
2. Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Material Management, Logistics, or a relevant field; relevant experience or knowledge in Quantity Surveying is an added advantage.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
4. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
6. Pleasant personality, self-motivated, and a team player.
7. Possess strong technical, problem-solving skills, and good leadership qualities.

9. Possess own transport.
10. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
11. Responsible for overall procurement of relevant raw and building materials, subcontracting works.
12. Source reliable suppliers and contractors to ensure project costs are within budget and to maximize project savings and profits.
13. Conduct cost and service comparisons.
14. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, striving for cost savings without compromising quality, and shipping terms to streamline operations and control costs.
15. Oversee the entire purchasing cycle, including quotation requests, purchase orders, goods receipt management, and supplier billing, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
16. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners, actively monitoring performance to drive continuous value and service enhancements.
17. Support the tender team to obtain the latest costs from suppliers.
18. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
