Job description

(A) Qualifications
Education: Degree in any Engineering discipline.
Skills: Knowledge and implementation of ISO 9001, TS16949, SPC, control plan, DOE, and basic problem-solving tools are essential. Interface with customers and manufacturing personnel to ensure product quality.
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment in the OA Department.
Other Job Requirements: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Mature and independent. Knowledge of electroplating is an added advantage. Ability to conduct supplier audits.

(B) Responsibilities

1. Perform manufacturing or systems quality assurance, control, and reliability tasks to ensure adherence to design rules and strict controls in processing, manufacturing, and delivery of frames to customers.
2. Conduct plant systems Quality Assurance audits to monitor and ensure compliance with specifications and plant quality systems.
3. Provide Quality Assurance Engineering support to quality systems management to ensure conformance to manufacturing and customer specifications.
4. Respond to internal and external customer feedback regarding quality and product/system conformance issues, aiming to deliver the best possible quality of products and services.
5. Examine, evaluate, and simulate product/manufacturing data using statistical process control tools and techniques.
6. Monitor customer returns, in-process, and outgoing quality status to meet and exceed customer expectations.
7. Develop and maintain quality inspection plans, quality engineering programs, or documentation systems.
8. Identify internal quality problems, investigate root causes, and utilize Statistical Process Control techniques to resolve issues.
9. Design and maintain a quality information system.
10. Provide reliability engineering and product manufacturability insights to customers.
11. Participate in supplier/customer partnership programs to continuously improve product quality and service.
12. Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
