A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring the safe handling of goods and optimizing productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and management skills, with proficiency in ERP systems and excellent communication abilities, particularly in Mandarin. This role requires a proactive approach to improving warehouse processes and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Job description

To plan and ensure warehouse operations smoothly.

Ensure the safe and correct receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods.

Identify all areas of improvement and maximize productivity.

Prepare and manage the logistics system to optimize time management.

To manage and implement smooth warehouse operations in the incoming and outgoing system through visual physical inspection, computerization, administration, and retrieval systems.(ERP System)

To implement and maintain complete detailed warehouse finished goods or non-finished goods products identification such as FIFO control, inventory, location by implementing daily stock count

To implement 5S activities - safety and health, cleanliness, and security requirements are met in the warehouse at all times

Liaised with the sales, production, shipping / Purchasing & QA/QC department on all issues about the processing of sales orders, packing, food safety & quality and to ensure on time lorry/tanker/container delivery to customer.

Having skills in forklift driving, including forklift maintenance & recording, is an advantage.

Responsible for the preparation of weekly reports, monthly reports, and management reports.

Job Requirement:

Possess a certificate/Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or Logistics.

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.

Possess excellent organizational, planning, and management skills; outstanding interpersonal, and teamwork skills as well as analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.

Proficiency in ERPsystems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, with the ability to communicate information to colleagues from China.

Demonstrate a working proficiency with MS Office applications.

Able to work in our Factory in Pulau Indah, Selangor.
