Job description

Purpose

  • This role is part of the Digitalization Team to support Wilhelmsen Ship Management’s digital transformation of crewing activities.
  • This position is mainly responsible for implementing new modules of the CMS

Interrelations

  • This role reports directly to the Crewing Business Application and Process Analyst and collaborates closely with Masters on Vessels and all teams of the Marine Personnel Department, IT, Payroll.

Formal authorities

  • Full access to crewing systems and related business processes.
  • Role out new modules of the CMS, per agreed and established work flow

Main responsibilities

  • Introduce and deploy new processes and practices to vessels, providing support and training to users as required to ensure smooth transitions and adoption. Resolve issues related to the deployment of new processes.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining comprehensive business process documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials (video & manuals) to ensure consistent understanding and usage across the organization.

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for implementing COMPAS Crew Management System (OnBoard Module) that enhance overall functionality of the system, per agreed and established work flows
  • Ensure that the deployment of COMPAS Onboard Module for vessels are delivered per planned schedule and contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of crew management operations

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements

  • 2 years of experience in maritime and/or crewing process areas, including business applications , ideally with experience using COMPAS crew management system
  • Experience in the maritime industry, particularly in Marine HR, Crewing, is highly preferred.
  • A service-oriented, efficient, and structured approach with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization as well as with senior vessel personnel such as Masters
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience in developing and conducting end-user training is an advantage.
