You will direct the financial operations of Malaysia to support the achievement of Malaysia & ASEANZ Business Plan objectives.
You will maintain an effective and efficient control environment (SOX, accounting, and internal controls) in line with US and Malaysia standards.
You will partner with the Managing Director to drive business performance and achievement of business objectives.
You will provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to the Malaysia & ASEANZ leadership team.
You will provide governance and organizational oversight on the Board of Directors, manage minority shareholder relationships, and report financial information to the Board and minority shareholders in accordance with regulatory requirements.
You will support and promote ASEANZ efforts, sharing of best practices, and standardization where possible.
Primary Requirements:
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA is a plus.
You have at least 10 years of increasing experience as a finance leader, preferably with interaction with all functions of the business (marketing, manufacturing, consumer products).
You have the ability to work under challenging deadlines and requirements.
You have demonstrated the ability to work with and manage a large group of people across functions and cultures.
You can drive change by direct leadership and by influence, being sensitive to cultural nuances.
You have the ability to organize a collective team of people/functions to execute on strategy to deliver goals.
You can effectively network and interact with groups having diverse and divergent needs (e.g., board of directors, trade partners, government agencies, shareholders, and internal customers).
