Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of full set accounting experience.

Management of day-to-day accounting operations of the Company

Review audit schedules, bank, supplier, and debtor reconciliations.

Preparation of monthly management reports, segmental reporting, and variance analysis.

Preparation and coordination of cash flow forecasts, annual budgets, and monthly Profit & Loss forecasts.

Internal control checks, including conducting stock takes.

Review and posting of daily journal entries.

Liaise with bankers, external auditors, and tax agents on audits and statutory matters.

Preparation of financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.

Managing E-invoicing.

Job Requirements

Possess professional accounting qualifications like ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA.

Minimum 5 years of full set accounting experience.

Knowledge of recent Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards.

Good administrative and communication skills, in both verbal and written English.

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Reliable and meticulous.

Knowledge of basic bookkeeping is essential.

Experience in the retail industry is an advantage.

Computer literate in MS Office applications, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Prior audit knowledge is advantageous.

Reliable, meticulous, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Good administration and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
