JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Learning & Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in cultivating a continuous learning environment. Your strategic vision will enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities, supported by your deep understanding of HRDC processes and industry trends.

Learning and Development

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive Learning & Development initiatives, utilizing blended learning to cultivate a learning culture across IJM’s divisions.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, aligning programmes with business goals and regulatory needs.
  • Innovate by introducing cutting-edge training through networking and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with training providers to tailor programs specific to group needs.
  • Oversee vendor partnerships, managing training logistics, budgeting, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Implement effective tracking and reporting methods to evaluate program success.
  • Champion process improvements within the L&D team, including digitalizing training requisitions.
  • Optimize the Human Resource Development Fund usage and advise HRBPs.
  • Lead and mentor a team to ensure effective execution of L&D initiatives.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Training or facilitation experience is an added advantage

Talent Development

  • Support Talent Management and Organizational Development in identifying and implementing talent development solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Learning & Development.
  • Experience in training facilitation is advantageous.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of current trends in Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent In-depth knowledge of current trends in Learning & Development (L&D) and Leadership Development.
  • Insight into the L&D needs of the organization, particularly in construction, property, building materials manufacturing, toll, port, and telecommunication infrastructure industries, is advantageous.
  • Well-connected with industry contacts, including HRDC and training vendors.
