Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a business partner and provide sales steering advice to Commercial GMs and/or sales & distribution channels. Maintain open communication on market status and movements with GMs and GSA PICs to identify near-term and mid-term commercial opportunities.
- Utilize external platforms to monitor seasonal and ad hoc market developments, proactively and reactively suggesting and implementing revenue management initiatives at specific origins.
- Define, develop, and maintain Teleport's "right-to-win" sectors and markets to focus revenue management efforts, considering existing market share, terminal operational excellence, and capacity types.
- Identify and deliver creative incremental revenue opportunities, such as adjusting market rates, overbooking strategies in conjunction with the interline team, and no-show management.
- Assess the commercial quality of new and existing leads from GMs (e.g., HBAs/SBAs/Pivot Weight deals) concerning market conditions, involved sectors, and Teleport's market share on specific O&Ds.
- Review route network performance to identify profitability and revenue gaps, providing well-researched plans to improve route profitability and influencing stakeholders (Operations, Commercial, Product, and Systems) for effective implementation.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with dashboard tools
- Strategic thinking and the ability to influence decision-making
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Industry experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, or logistics; hospitality experience is also valued
- 4+ years of experience in air cargo principles
