Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the company's software, hardware, and networking operating systems.
  • Perform application maintenance including installation, configuration, upgrading, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
  • Provide 1st level support for IT infrastructure such as printers, servers, routers, firewalls, network switches, CCTV, email, and website, including basic configuration.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues both in-house and on-site.
  • Liaise with internal users for system enhancements and external parties for quotations, software licenses, etc.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, and resources; perform periodic IT asset and software audits.
  • Maintain logs and lists of required repairs and maintenance.
  • Install and maintain workstations.
  • Provide proactive technical support for long-term planning of IT system replacements and upgrades.
  • Review and recommend process and system improvements.
  • Undertake other assigned tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Preferably 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong skills in Wi-Fi, VLAN, WAN, and network routing.
  • Good knowledge of cloud computing service providers’ platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Independent, result-oriented, with the tenacity to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Warm, cheerful personality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Team player.
