About the role

As the Finance Manager at PETROLEUM WORLD TRADE CENTRE SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and reporting for the organisation. This full-time position is based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading company in the Banking & Financial Services, Corporate Finance & Investment Banking industry.

What you'll be doing
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports.
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the company's cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, and ensure effective financial controls are in place.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in the Banking & Financial Services or Corporate Finance & Investment Banking industry.
  • Experience in preparing financial proposals for securing funding and credit facilities.
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
