Job description

• Programming: Develop and write programs for all parts, then pass them to the technician for setup.
• Machine Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve machine running time and implement solutions.
• Supplier Management: Research and find suppliers for necessary improvements or equipment.
• Program Backup: Ensure all programs are backed up and securely saved on the company server.
• 3D Drawings: Prepare and deliver accurate 3D drawings for production use.
• Meetings: Attend meetings actively, providing updates and input as needed.
• Project Management: Submit the Gantt chart from Engineering to track project timelines.
• Lead Time Verification: Verify and ensure accurate project lead-time estimates.
• Buy-Off Process: Pass the program to QA for the buy-off process after initial setup.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and identify root causes of machine or operator rejections, then implement corrective actions.
• Environmental Compliance: Follow the company's environmental policies and procedures, and comply with relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
• Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Drawing Interpretation: Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
• Machine Knowledge: Good understanding of machinery and their functions.
• Cycle Time Prediction: Ability to predict cycle times and manage critical dimensions.
• Turning Expertise: Strong skills and knowledge in turning processes.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Mastercam, NX, and Hypermill programming software.
• Instruction Compliance: Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Planning: Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for team collaboration and clear updates.
