Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To assist the superior in managing the maintenance department effectively and contribute positively towards the profitability of the company’s operations
  • To establish technical details, maintenance standards for factory machinery with urgency attached to high-cost and critical machinery
  • Ensure smooth plant operation by servicing, troubleshooting & repairing the machinery
  • To conduct safety briefings for any contractors who will start work at the premises
  • To ensure all critical instruments, as per ISO standards, are calibrated on time and appropriate stickers are placed on the instruments.
  • To ensure all plants’ repair and maintenance costs are maintained within budget
  • To ensure all SOPS as per the ISO 9001:2000, HACCP, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 comply, and no non-conformities are identified by any 3rd party audits
  • To ensure all safety procedures are complied with by workshop personnel, contractors and suppliers when any engineering works are carried out in the factory
  • To ensure all firefighting and safety equipment is well-maintained
  • To carry out any other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time

Ideal Candidate

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in plant and machinery operations, maintenance and overall equipment upkeep
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure operational efficiency, troubleshoot technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives in an industrial or manufacturing environment
