About the role

As a Warehouse Officer at Nippon Express (M) Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of the company's warehousing operations in Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor supervisors of team supporting the logistical aspects of documentation and operation
• Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records
• Oversee operational movements
• Communicate with internal departments regarding moderate issues
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role, preferably within the logistics industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
• Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory control software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and customers
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Forklift operation certification or willingness to obtain one
