An established industry player seeks an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and drive strategic financial planning. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, ensuring the company's financial health and compliance. Oversee the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management.
Prepare monthly cash flow projections, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
Analyze costings, pricing, variable contributions, sales performance, and actual results against business plans.
Develop financial trends and projections to support the company’s financial outlook.
Identify and evaluate cost reduction opportunities.
Consolidate yearly accounts and liaise with external auditors.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, legal advisors, bankers, and business partners.
Proactively assess business risks, internal controls, and the efficiency of business processes; identify key issues and make recommendations to Management.
Ensure effective tax planning, review tax computations, and ensure timely tax payments and submissions to relevant authorities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Professional Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Banking, ACCA, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Membership with MIA is an added advantage.
Experience working in a listed company is required.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Strong planning, inventory control, analytical, and leadership skills.
Able to work independently and lead a team effectively.
Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
5 working days per week.
