ELV / ICT PROJECT ENGINEER (DATA CENTER)

Assist the M&E Manager in planning and executing ELV/ ICT systems scope in line with the overall project timeline.

Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil, architectural and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of ELV/ ICT systems.

Coordinate and supervise installation, testing and commissioning of the following systems:

Card Access Control Systems

Building Management System (BMS)

Public Address (PA) and Intercom Systems

Telephone and Structured Cabling (Telco)

Security Systems

IT Network Infrastructure (Racks, Patch Panels, Cable Trays)

Oversee ELV/ ICT infrastructure works including:

Manhole and handhole construction

Coordinate with telecom providers for incoming service lines and main distribution frame (MDF) termination.

Ensure integration of Data Center Operating System (DCOS) with electrical systems (power monitoring, efficiency, alarms).

Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.

Maintain records of installation, test results and commissioning reports.

Prepare and maintain documentation including installation drawings, test reports, as-built records and commissioning checklists.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or related field.

5+ years of experience in ELV/ ICT systems installation and commissioning.

Data center construction project experience is a Plus.

Knowledge of systems like CCTV, BMS, Access Control and structured cabling.

Familiarity with local codes, safety standards and project documentation.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Willing to work in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
