The Role

You will manage daily operations for Malaysia (MY) and contribute to the growth of the MY Accounting and Finance team, reporting directly to the Assistant Finance Manager. Your responsibilities include preparing key reports, analyzing profitability, and addressing business issues. This role bridges accounting (the past) and finance (the future), helping inform strategic decisions.

Main Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Accounting
  • Reconcile payables and receivables from various channels
  • Process supplier invoices and payments
  • Record accurate journal entries for transactions
  • Manage intercompany transactions and billing
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly account closing
  • Collaborate proactively with internal teams and external partners
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa, both verbal and written
  • Positive, self-motivated communicator capable of engaging all levels
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Experience with SQL and SAP B1 is a plus
