My client is a well-known Manufacturing and Automation Company focused on the design, production, and customization of automated machinery, based in Johor.
Responsibilities:
- Builds strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provides technical and engineering support by responding to inquiries about products, services, or equipment.
- Collaborates with customers and internal engineering teams to develop tailored engineering solutions.
- Analyzes project plans, system diagrams, client requirements, and related documents to create accurate cost estimates.
- Coordinates with external suppliers for the design and pricing of system components.
- Prepares quotations, cost breakdowns, and project proposals.
- Initiates procurement of equipment and components required for project execution.
- Visits client sites when necessary to support project needs.
- Develops and maintains effective marketing and public relations strategies to enhance the company's image and promote its products and services.
- Identifies potential risks and implements strategies to manage and mitigate them.
- Provides support to the Sales, Project, and Engineering teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Experienced in technical sales, preferably in automation machinery, industrial equipment, manufacturing systems or electronics.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems including PLCs, robotics, motion control, HMI/SCADA systems, and related machinery. Test Development experience is a great advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, control schematics, and machine specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with engineering, project management, and customer stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling and solution-based sales approach.
- Ability to develop technical proposals and ROI-based justifications.
