Job description

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Monitor day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, payroll, and transactions.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations.

Coordinate audits and prepare supporting documentation.

Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.

Maintain accurate records and document financial transactions appropriately.

Supervise and support junior finance staff.

Assist with financial planning and risk management initiatives.

Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Professional membership (MIA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent certification) is a plus.
• Proven experience in managing monthly financial reporting cycles and working with accounting software.
• Experience with Accounting Software (e.g., Autocount, SQL, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (MFRS).
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and deliver accurate financial information.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior management and other departments.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
