Join our Team: Business Development Manager, Asia, Terex Fuchs
The Business Development Manager for the Fuchs brand will establish a go-to-market strategy for the region and will also play a leading role in defining the future new product development roadmap, focusing on Southeast Asia and key markets including Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand.
What you’ll do
- Identify and target key regions and markets for sales growth.
- Develop channels to market, primarily via third-party distribution, and direct sales where appropriate.
- Strategically identify dealers and manage dealer relationships to grow successful distribution partnerships.
- Work with the Fuchs Managing Director and Sales Director to develop sales forecasts, create sales pipelines, and forecast sales bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Provide technical and application expertise, equipment recommendations, and advice to customers and distribution partners.
- Travel to sites, make suggestions, and proactively sell directly or in support of distribution partners.
- Collaborate with MP to develop financing solutions.
- Provide quotations as needed.
- Train dealers and customers as required.
- Resolve customer complaints and challenges, engaging internal teams to support sales and after-sales processes.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers and dealer networks.
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies.
- Assist in collecting receivables when necessary.
What you’ll bring
- Degree qualification, preferably in engineering or a technical discipline, to support technical advice to customers and partners.
- Proven success in direct sales and third-party distribution management, ideally within the target markets.
- Experience selling bespoke or customized products requiring application expertise.
- Ability to understand market requirements and analyze the competitive landscape.
- Track record supporting new product development.
- Significant regional industry experience.
- Comfortable working with leadership and customers.
- Thorough knowledge of dealer networks, distribution, and product line management.
