Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely fulfillment of purchase orders, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and enforcing compliance with company procurement policies. This role is vital to keeping our supply chain efficient and our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Release Purchase Orders (POs) on time to ensure seamless fulfillment of customer requirements.
  2. Monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD) by vendors and follow up proactively to avoid delays.
  3. Maintain and update all purchase-related documentation and records in the system (e.g., pricing, product specifications, vendor details).
  4. Liaise with suppliers for order acknowledgments, delivery confirmations, and ensure system updates are done promptly.
  5. Ensure strict adherence to the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  6. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, defects, or quality issues related to incoming goods.
  7. Oversee import shipment coordination, including documentation and vendor communication.
  8. Assist with ad-hoc purchasing or supply chain tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
  1. Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin – essential for communicating with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
  2. Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  3. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  4. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar field.
  5. Proficient in using procurement or ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
