About the role

The Finance Manager based in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the CFO, this full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting functions of the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Managing the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
3. Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process, and providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
4. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
5. Supervising and developing the finance team to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.
6. Collaborating with other departments to provide financial expertise and support business initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar finance manager or senior accountant role.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, with a solid understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Minimum 5 years in managerial level with strong leadership qualities, independent and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge and experience in SQL systems.
• Strong communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills in English.
