Job description

Manager, Regional Supply Chain Excellence & Projects

Lead SC Excellence activities and implementation of key strategic projects; act as PMO for APA SCM for global and regional projects.

Support APA SCM Head to develop, update, and implement the new APA SCM Strategy to improve transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, and cost competitiveness.

Proactively identify areas for improvement, evaluate options (including benefits and costs), make recommendations, and drive implementation of projects/initiatives (e.g., inventory management).

Responsible for Performance and Risk Management for APA Operations: monitor and manage KPIs, establish benchmarks, define service levels, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.

Responsible for Business Application team: develop APA SCE-specific knowledge, establish a Business Expert network for Supply Chain Planning, and support related processes and tools (SAP, IBP, APO).

Manage Stakeholder Relationships and Communication: act as a liaison between SCM, IT, and internal teams to ensure alignment on objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and audit standards (e.g., internal audits).

Lead the APA SCE Community to promote innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement.

Lead Monthly Sub-Regional Business Planning Meetings.

Main Tasks
  1. Differentiated Steering (S4Hana Transformation) Leadership: serve as the primary contact for the S4Hana Transformation Project, ensuring effective implementation and integration within regional SC processes.
  2. Collaborate with IT and other teams to drive system optimization and process automation via S4Hana.
  3. IPO Readiness for Regional SCM: oversee initiatives to ensure readiness, aligning operations with financial, regulatory, and operational standards.
  4. Project Leadership in SCM Enhancement: lead projects to improve supply chain processes through AI, digital solutions, and process optimization.
  5. Strategic Alignment & Continuous Improvement: ensure initiatives support business strategy, collaborating globally to implement strategic improvements.
  6. Stakeholder Management and Communication: maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
  7. People Management and Culture: foster a collaborative, innovative environment; mentor team members for growth and alignment with organizational goals.
  8. Compliance & Risk Management: ensure adherence to standards and proactively mitigate risks to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • Masters/Bachelor in SCM, Logistics, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SCM, Logistics, or related fields
  • Expertise in S4Hana or similar ERP systems, experience with IPO processes, and knowledge of AI, digital technologies, and process optimization
  • Knowledge of SCM, inventory & production planning, international trading, SAP/IBP systems
  • Strong project management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; digital and data analytics skills are a plus
