Job Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and expenditure management, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Analyze budget variances, implement corrective actions, and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and allocate financial resources effectively to support company development projects.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Handle the full set of accounts, including financial statements, supporting schedules, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance policies.
- Oversee tax-related matters, including tax planning, transfer pricing policies, and regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
Cost Control & Risk Management
- Assess and mitigate financial risks to maintain the company's financial stability and integrity.
- Monitor financial performance, control expenditures, and implement cost-optimization strategies.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to safeguard company assets.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Banking.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field (experience in Property Development or Construction companies is an advantage).
- Candidates fluent in English and Mandarin are preferred, as the role requires interaction with Mandarin-speaking managers.
