Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

  1. Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and expenditure management, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  2. Analyze budget variances, implement corrective actions, and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
  3. Monitor cash flow and allocate financial resources effectively to support company development projects.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  1. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Handle the full set of accounts, including financial statements, supporting schedules, and related documentation.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance policies.
  4. Oversee tax-related matters, including tax planning, transfer pricing policies, and regulatory submissions.
  5. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Cost Control & Risk Management

  1. Assess and mitigate financial risks to maintain the company's financial stability and integrity.
  2. Monitor financial performance, control expenditures, and implement cost-optimization strategies.
  3. Develop and maintain internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to safeguard company assets.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Banking.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field (experience in Property Development or Construction companies is an advantage).
  • Candidates fluent in English and Mandarin are preferred, as the role requires interaction with Mandarin-speaking managers.
