Job description

Implementing the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and installing both temporary and permanent pollution prevention and mitigation measures (P2M2).

Communicating the environmental regulatory compliance status of the project during development and operation phases to the Estate Manager.

Performing inspections on all components of Best Management Practices (BMPs) at the site.

Monitoring and auditing all environmental issues.

Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, especially concerning EIA Conditions of Approval.

Preparing and submitting environmental reports to relevant authorities, e.g., DOE.

Monitoring and identifying environmental issues at the site.

Conducting environmental awareness training and developing schemes for recycling, pollution reduction, and prevention.

Liaising with local authorities/regulatory bodies (DOE, BOMBA, MOH, auditors, etc.) on environmental and safety matters.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science, Plantation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the environmental field.
  • Willing to work and live on an estate.
  • Certified as a competent person with CISEC, CEPE, OEIA, CESSWI, or relevant certification by DOE.
  • Able to work independently, with initiative and responsibility.
