Drive final test yield and continuous improvement per assigned project/technology/package to meet ambitious targets by analyzing yield detractors, driving improvements, and proactively proposing measures.

Job Description

In your new role, you will:

1. Drive final test yield and continuous improvement per assigned project/technology/package to meet ambitious targets by analyzing yield detractors, driving improvements, and proactively proposing measures.
2. Ensure the quality of products delivered to customers meets Infineon’s quality and reliability standards through robust test firewalls (SBA, test workflow, test program).
3. Provide technical analysis for LOH assessment and disposition with speed and quality (fast containment and early triggering), joint disposition with root cause owners by providing technical advice from test data.
4. Support BE productivity/ratio/quality (NLoZD) projects with in-depth test data analysis to ensure process stability, yield, and LRR.
5. Support FAR/FE QMR/MRB/Task Force/Focus team/8D team in electrical test yield, reject bin, and distribution analysis, involving in 8D for root cause finding, event mapping, simulation, containment, corrective actions, and test escapee root cause.
6. Interface with FE PE, GPE, & Division TE/PRE/PRM on test/product relevant topics.
7. Drive test stability and be accountable for test package buyoff and production release.
8. Manage LOH by driving systemic LOH improvements, configuring firewalls, quality gates, analysis, disposition, and improvement.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. A degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Physics/Microelectronics/Semiconductor Technology or a comparable field).
2. 1-2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally within Product Engineering roles.
3. Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
4. Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and database handling.
5. Strong aptitude in engineering analysis, problem-solving, and solution finding. You see challenges as opportunities to grow and develop.
