To lead and manage the entire Production Department, focusing on continuous improvement activities related to personnel, material, and capital efficiency on the production floor.
Coordinate production schedules and ensure product quality meets our standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties:
- Monitor production output and efficiency.
- Develop KPIs for production activities.
- Follow production orders to ensure smooth operations and timely completion.
- Verify daily production forms and monitor overall output.
- Investigate root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Identify areas for improvement and initiate activities accordingly.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Promote 5S and good housekeeping practices, maintaining discipline on the production line.
Secondary duties:
- Coordinate with departments such as Planning, HR, IT, Marketing, QA, and R&D to fulfill production needs.
- Participate in ISO activities, customer audits, and inspections.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Order spare parts for machinery.
- Perform other related duties as required, working closely with staff from all departments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Technical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to coordinate daily production operations.
- Proficiency in ERP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preferably a managerial role in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
- Ability to work well in a team, handle workload, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
