Job description

1. Drawing Coordination and Optimization

  • Communicate with architecture, MEP consultants to ensure drawings meet MEP standards and construction requirements.
  • Participate in drawing reviews, coordinate interdisciplinary conflicts, and ensure design feasibility and smooth construction.
  • Identify and address flaws in consultant designs promptly.

2. Construction Management

  • Oversee the construction progress, quality, and safety of MEP systems in the project. Create detailed MEP construction plans, and coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure timely completion.
  • Establish a quality assurance system for MEP construction, implement inspection and testing procedures, and ensure compliance with design and industry standards like ISO, BS, etc., to guarantee system stability.

3. Supplier and Subcontractor Management

  • Maintain communication with suppliers and subcontractors, resolve contract disputes, and ensure obligations are fulfilled. Organize participation in project meetings and align work schedules.

4. Cost Control

  • Manage construction changes and site orders carefully, analyze costs, justify changes, and prevent unnecessary overruns.

5. Communication and Coordination

  • Act as a liaison with authorities, agencies like IWK, and clients to handle approvals and permits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and attend meetings to resolve issues and coordinate systems.
  • Engage with clients to understand needs, provide updates, and address inquiries to improve satisfaction.

6. Document Management

  • Organize and archive all project documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability for project execution, acceptance, and future maintenance.
