In this role, you'll oversee the management of a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse, ensuring proper procedures are followed while facilitating approvals and monitoring raw material usage. Job description

Ensure compliance with all relevant customs laws, regulations, and procedures.

Handle customs declarations, classification, and duty calculation for imports and exports.

Prepare and submit customs clearance documents accurately and in a timely manner.

Stay updated on any changes to customs regulations and advise the business accordingly.

Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) Management:

Oversee the management of the LMW, ensuring proper documentation and procedures are followed.

Facilitate the approval and renewal process for LMW licenses.

Monitor the usage of raw materials, components, and finished goods for export under the LMW scheme.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that the manufacturing activities align with LMW requirements.

Maintain accurate records of LMW operations and customs audits.

Customs Duty and Tax Management:

Ensure correct application of customs duties, excise duties, and taxes on imported and exported goods.

Prepare and review reports on customs duties, tax exemptions, and LMW-related activities.

Evaluate customs documentation for accuracy and compliance, and resolve any discrepancies.

Audit and Inspection:

Support the company during customs audits and inspections.

Prepare necessary documents and records for audits related to customs and LMW operations.

Respond to any queries or findings during audits in a professional manner.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities, to facilitate smooth customs procedures.

Provide guidance and training to internal teams on customs processes and LMW management.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain proper records of customs clearance and LMW activities.

Submit regular reports to management on customs operations, issues, and updates.

Ensure all documents related to customs compliance are stored in accordance with regulations.
