Product Specialist

We are a regional multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry, well established in the market and playing a vital role in the sector. We are a research-based pharmaceutical company with manufacturing facilities and a research and development center.

Position Summary

The Product Specialist is responsible for achieving product and market segment sales targets within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Generate sales and initiate sales activities to meet proposed sales targets.
  2. Organize appointments and meetings with healthcare professionals.
  3. Demonstrate and present products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, to promote products and negotiate prices.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new customer bases and markets.
  6. Keep detailed records of customers and updates.
  7. Attend and organize trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
  8. Review sales performance and prepare reports regularly.
  9. Prepare presentations, slides, and marketing materials as needed.
  10. Report all adverse events and product quality complaints to the LPVRP and/or Deputy LPVRP within 24 hours of awareness.
  11. Report all medical information inquiries to the Medical Affairs Advisor within 24 hours of awareness.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in science (preferred) or related field.
  2. Preferably with sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  4. Skillful negotiator with good business sense.
  5. Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  7. Own transport and willingness to travel.
