Job description

The HR Executive supports the HR Manager in executing a range of human resources functions to ensure an efficient and effective workforce. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies. The HR Executive works closely with the HR Manager to foster a positive and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the HR Manager in managing recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding.
  2. Handle employee relations by addressing queries and minor grievances professionally.
  3. Support the implementation of performance management systems and appraisals.
  4. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  5. Assist in payroll administration and leave management.
  6. Coordinate with the HR Manager to execute training and development initiatives.
  7. Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
  8. Prepare HR-related reports and documents as required within the specified time frame.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills:

  1. Minimum 1 year of working experience in HR or related roles.
  2. Proficient in speaking and writing three languages (Malay, English, and Chinese) will be given priority consideration.
  3. Expert in using Microsoft Office and HR software.
  4. Familiarity with labour laws and HR practices.
  5. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with the HR Manager and other team members.
