About the role

We are seeking a Front Office Executive to join our dynamic team at COBNB SDN. BHD. In this full-time role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Job Description:

  1. Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  2. Handling check-ins and check-outs, resolving guest complaints or issues.
  3. Providing information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
  4. Assisting in managing room reservations, including processing bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
  5. Routinely checking the rooms’ condition for cleanliness and maintenance issues to be reported.
  6. Assisting with billing inquiries and resolving discrepancies in billing records.
  7. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  8. Working closely with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  9. Preparing check-in and check-out lists.
  10. Identifying patterns or recurring issues and brainstorming solutions to improve processes.
  11. Performing data entry tasks, including updating customer records, processing orders, and maintaining accurate databases.
  12. Performing any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a front office or guest services role in the hospitality industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills are an advantage.
