About the Role

Location: Duisburg, Germany (Remote work from anywhere in Germany is possible)

Business Unit: Transformation of Industry, Compression

Employment Type: Full-time, Experienced Professional

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the installation of compressor systems worldwide, including alignment of machine trains and supervision of piping.
  • Lead on-site activities both domestically and internationally, including offshore projects, primarily communicating in English.
  • Manage and supervise assembly, revisions, and repairs of turbo compressor systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and instruction to team members and contractors during installation.
  • Coordinate all personnel activities and resources such as lifting equipment, machinery, and transportation.
  • Train operator personnel on the setup and function of compressor systems.
  • Maintain and update installation logs and process plans.
  • Conduct acceptance tests and handovers according to standards and document any modifications.
  • Report errors and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal standards, and environmental laws.

Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic or equivalent, with further certification (master's or technician) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 100% globally.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Good physical condition to handle offshore and challenging environments.
