Corporate Finance & Account Manager or Assistant Manager

Currently, our Kuala Lumpur branch is seeking motivated, energetic, and career-oriented professionals for the position of Corporate Finance & Account Manager or Assistant Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Recognized degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, MIA, MICPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, including finance, accounting, audit, and analysis (gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to management and external parties).
  • Knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations in SEA is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and inquisitiveness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing clients and team members.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing), as the role involves dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients, particularly in the Greater China market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage full set of accounts, including monthly and year-end closing processes.
  • Handle client and internal accounts in accordance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Oversee financial operations, provide decision support, and implement strategic improvements.
  • Review corporate tax computations and processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting in compliance with local IFRS and tax laws.
  • File SST, Income Tax, and other tax reports timely, ensuring payments are made within deadlines.
  • Process monthly payroll, including EPF, Socso, and PCB accurately and promptly.
  • Present financial reports to management and clients.
  • Supervise and monitor team members to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain statutory records accurately.
  • Report relevant matters to management.
