Job description

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (FOOD MANUFACTURING)

· Operating and managing the section line and liaising with Section Head and Production Manager to ensure a successful working environment.

· Assist production operations to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with lean manufacturing principles and the 4M+E (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Environment) initiative.

· Ensure flawless execution of production standard operating procedures (SOPs), adherence to manufacturing conditions and quality control standards, troubleshoot and resolve production deviations.

· Collaborate with the engineering team to manage routine shift maintenance, scheduled maintenance, and continuous line improvements.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and a growth mindset that positively impacts safety, quality, and productivity.

· Assist with production of products according to quality and quantity standards.

· Monitor production processes and products to ensure adherence to recipe specifications, quality standards, and food safety regulations, conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Establish and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standards for each process/section which production operators will follow and execute.

· Ensure compliance of processes and equipment with internal and external regulations (e.g., GMP, HACCP, HALAL).

Required Skills:

· Minimum Diploma in Bakery, Pastry, Culinary Arts, or equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a junior pastry bakery chef or in a similar role.

· Possess excellent knowledge of different pastry bakery techniques and ingredients.

· A keen eye for details and a commitment to upholding high standards of food quality and hygiene.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
