Job description

Our company, with 41 years of experience in the construction industry and registered as a G7 contractor with CIDB, specializes in internal and external plumbing works. We are expanding and seeking candidates to join us for residential construction projects at the following locations:

• Pulai, Johor
• Johor Bahru, Johor

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm

Scope of Work:

• Supervise work progress activities at the site according to schedule and drawings.
• Coordinate, supervise, and execute construction activities, inspecting and controlling the quality of works before delivery.
• Monitor site progress, prepare daily activity reports, and update site reports regularly.
• Report discrepancies or delays and follow-up on procedures.
• Ensure smooth operations and supervision at the project site.
• Maintain work quality and adhere to safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections periodically.
• Organize regular meetings with workers or subcontractors to meet schedules and resolve site issues.
• Attend project and technical meetings with clients or consultants.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure work aligns with drawings.
• Manage contractors and monitor site progress.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and authorities regarding site issues.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to lead and supervise site workers.
• Proficient in reading architectural, civil, structural, and plumbing drawings.
• Basic skills in AutoCAD.
• Experience in residential building construction.
• Organizational and coordination skills for site activities.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in engineering and construction works.
• Own transportation is required.
• Contract-based employment.
