Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial processes, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Handle full set of accounts and be involved in daily accounting operations.
  2. Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly management reports.
  3. Prepare ad-hoc reports and financial analyses as required by management.
  4. Manage invoicing, collections, maintain payment records, and update cashbooks.
  5. Handle tenant accounts receivable collections, including daily calls/meetings with tenants.
  6. Ensure timely cash collection, approve credit facilities, and recommend legal actions when necessary.
  7. Conduct data analysis for credit approval processes.
  8. Provide guidance to staff regarding credit issues.
  9. Manage mall accounting functions, including rental invoicing and collections, and maintaining rental records.
  10. Manage cash flow and ensure proper financial management.
  11. Maintain proper filing of all financial documents.
  12. Liaise with external auditors for year-end audits and with government bodies.
  13. Review statutory audit reports.
  14. Prepare tax computations and submit income tax returns.
  15. Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or relevant professional qualification.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in accounting or related fields.
  3. Proficiency in computer applications; knowledge of SQL accounting systems is an advantage.
  4. Experience with tenancy management systems and shopping mall reporting is a plus.
  5. Meticulous, proactive, responsible, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Good interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
