Job description

Senior Account Executive / Finance Manager

Oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Manage the full set of accounts.

Handle banking and cash flow management.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and consolidate financial statements to HQ format.

Provide timely management reports to the Managing Director and HQ.

Prepare annual budgets, analyze variances, and report findings.

Responsible for taxation matters.

Maintain the fixed assets register.

Develop and assess internal control documents and enhance work procedures.

Liaise with internal and external parties, including government authorities, service providers, bankers, insurance agents, auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.

Handle HR functions including payroll, recruitment, attendance, benefits, leave, claims, appraisals, and training.

Oversee office administration and general affairs such as licenses, road tax, insurance renewals, maintenance of factory and office facilities, repair and maintenance of office equipment, hardware and software, security, and telecommunications.

Ensure confidentiality of company financial reports and employee data.

Perform any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the accounting field
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay
  • Proficient in AutoCount Accounting and Payroll System
  • Experience with Internet Banking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently, self-driven, positive attitude, and meet deadlines
