Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Preparing monthly financial statements, reports, and analyses to support decision-making.
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial planning activities.
- Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
- Providing support for audits and other financial compliance activities.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing effective solutions.
- Participating in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills
What we're looking for
- Ability to speak and read Mandarin due to the Taiwan-based accounting system.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within the Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
