Job description

Job Nature:

Reporting to the Team Lead, candidate will be focused on the analysis and reporting of credit risk metrics including key performance indicators of the portfolio. This will also cover the development and enhancement of periodic reporting and MIS for the department and business

Job Functions:

  • Design, build, implement and maintain credit risk reports
  • Analyse and report portfolio KPI's to management, HOD and business partners ensuring information is accurate
  • Analysis of credit risk data against past and expected trends to sufficiently explain key portfolio variance / performance drivers
  • Portfolio analysis, monitoring and reporting in regular and timely basis
  • Perform system UATs for credit-risk related systems
  • Provide analytical/ statistical data to support recommendation to enhance credit policies, segmentation, simulation techniques and management actions to be taken
  • Proactively engage the Policy Managers on portfolio shape, trend and abnormalities in the portfolio movements
  • To assist Policy Managers on campaigns and product proposals
  • Review and provide recommendation based on credit strategy outcome and continuously improve credit analytics structure.
  • Perform data integrity check with various stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or an equivalent quantitative area
  • 3 - 5 years experience in data analytics or relevant experience
  • Strong business and data analytics skills with proven track record of complex processes and data analysis/ deliverables
  • Ability to produce high quality analysis using structured and unstructured data
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and dealing effectively with demanding business partners
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact successfully with business partners, operations, technology and finance teams
  • Strong planning, coordication and organization skills
  • Good project management
  • Proficient in SQL, SAS or related BI tools
  • Candidates with more experience would be considered for a more senior position within the team
