Qualifications

• 12-18 years of experience in Instrumentation engineering, preferably in Food & Beverage or Pharmaceutical projects.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia, PEng is an added advantage.

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the instrumentation engineering & preparation of drawings and technical documentation required for the execution of Industrial projects (Petrochemical, Oil & Gas) from concept design, FEED design and detailed design.

Responsibilities

1. Review and analysis of regulatory requirement and safety design as per standards.
2. Prepare high quality engineering deliverables within agreed timeline.
3. Basis of Design / Automation Topology for DCS / SIS / FGS / BMS.
4. Instrument Data Sheets & Sizing for selection.
5. I/O List / Control System Configuration Diagram.
6. CCTV specification and architecture.
7. Fire alarm and fire suppression system.
8. Instrument Cable Duct Route Plot Plan.
9. Cable Schedule, loop drawings, instrument connection list.
10. Construction Specification.
11. Detail Design for Cabinet, Equipment and Device, etc.
12. Bill of Materials Take off.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
2. 12-18 years’ experience in the Instrumentation engineering preferably in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical projects.
3. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia. PEng is an added advantage.
4. Experienced in EPCM work environment.
5. Experienced in Management of Change (MOC) projects are an added advantage.
6. Strong experience in Instrumentation engineering and construction work.
7. Experienced in tools and software such as SP Intools, Autocad etc.
8. Thorough Knowledge of Malaysia Code and local legislative regulations / International codes regulations.
9. Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team and hybrid environment.
10. Good communication skills.
