Job description

The Finance Director will be at the heart of operations, partnering with leadership to shape financial direction, unlock growth opportunities, and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies that ensure long-term financial stability and optimize expenses.
  2. Drive financial performance and support organizational goals.
  3. Oversee all financial functions, including financial statement preparation, general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and tax compliance such as VAT, income tax, and local filings.
  4. Ensure financial systems, processes, and controls comply with regulatory and organizational standards.
  5. Establish and maintain internal controls to support accurate and reliable financial reporting.
  6. Manage monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  7. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate efficient review and audit processes.
  8. Establish and manage a Shared Services function to deliver efficient financial accounting services across multiple regions.
  9. Lead the implementation and optimization of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other financial tools.
  10. Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining strong internal controls.
  11. Provide leadership and training to the finance team, fostering professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.
  12. Perform other related duties to support the financial health and operational success of the organization.
Qualifications:
  1. 15+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices, including US GAAP/SOX and local regulations.
  3. Experience in managing financial systems and implementing ERP solutions.
  4. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and work effectively across functions in dynamic environments.
  5. Expertise in managing priorities with attention to detail.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
