About Us

At Teleport, we're on an exciting mission to innovate in the traditional logistics industry. We want to enable everyone, from single merchants to the largest companies, to move eCommerce parcels cross-border in a cheap, fast, and reliable way.

To do this, we're looking for a Senior Executive, Content Marketing on the move to join our Content Marketing team. You'll work with a team of 6 to create bold, scroll-stopping content that connects with a range of audience types from investors, advocates, logistics partners, eCommerce players, and decision-makers shaping global trade.

Your work will showcase our capabilities and impact, as well as position us as a disruptive, integrated eCommerce logistics specialist in Asia. This means that sometimes, you will travel regionally and internationally to capture stories that bring our brand to life. Otherwise, your home base is our KL office at Wisma Capital A, Malaysia. Reporting to the Head of Content Marketing, this fast-paced role offers an opportunity to make your mark as a Content Creator.

A DAY IN A LIFE

You can expect your days to be pretty varied at Teleport. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

  • Create, edit, and publish short-form, video-first and visual content like carousels, social posts, and videos - across Teleport's owned and earned channels (e.g. website, LinkedIn, and Instagram)
  • Execute end-to-end video production, including ideation, filming and editing, to captivate and retain our target audience
  • Implement and contribute your unique ideas to the regional content strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, other marketing branches, and external stakeholders like customers and airline partners
  • Conduct interviews and research to generate fresh ideas and content
  • Monitor and report social media and content performance metrics
  • Support online and offline community engagement initiatives and marketing-related projects
  • Stay updated on social media, content marketing trends, and market insights in logistics and eCommerce


Requirements

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have' for the role:

  • 3+ years of hands-on content creation and social media experience
  • Strong visual and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail and a knack for grabbing attention quickly
  • Proficiency in English and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends
  • Expertise in video editing (in-app and software-based)
  • The ability to multitask, work fast, manage projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team
  • Please note: Your application must include a portfolio or relevant work samples to be considered

These are skills that are ‘nice-to-have' and will make you stand out in the job application:

  • The ability to identify and creatively solve challenges, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in problem-solving
  • Familiarity with or experience in podcasting or serial content production (in any form)
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Motion graphics skills
