Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading national distributor, has a Transportation Coordinator position available in Franklin, MA! The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for arranging the delivery of merchandise to customers, scheduling driver routes, rearranging routes when obstacles arise, working with dispatch, and other related duties.

The position will be Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Assign vehicles (Freight Trucks) to drivers based on our customers’ needs and adhere to the deadline of the warehouse.
  • Monitor the timely deliveries of goods and services based on the shipment agreement.
  • Maintain company policies and contractual agreements.
  • Provide backup for the routing department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects.
  • Support accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation-related administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
  • Have a thorough understanding of DOT regulations, promote safety initiatives, and implement changes.
Qualifications

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Roadnet Software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
