Job description

The Supply & Demand Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the balance between supply and demand to ensure product availability, reduce excess inventory, and meet customer expectations. This role involves close coordination with sales, marketing, and logistics to develop accurate forecasts, manage inventory, and align supply planning with business goals.

  1. Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
  2. Proposing and implementing solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
  3. Successfully communicating forecast and inventory estimations to management
  4. Monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
  5. Supporting management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
  6. Conducting monthly forecast maintenance
  7. Addressing demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  8. Assisting in developing annual budgets and streamlining costs
  9. Scheduling regular forecast review meetings with management & suppliers with MKT
  10. Maintaining demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy
  11. Updating forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, and promotions
  12. Working with team members to plan, coordinate, and execute demand planning activities
  13. Coordinating with inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
  14. Providing leadership and guidance to the customer service team to ensure high customer satisfaction. Monitoring service metrics, handling escalated inquiries, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  15. Collaborating with commercial teams, distributors, and global supply chain functions to understand market dynamics, demand variations, and customer requirements. Fostering strong relationships for accurate demand signals and effective supply planning.
  16. Ensuring proper workflow of supplier payment and finance processes in accordance.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
  2. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot, matrix, formulas), strong stock management skills, SAP user, supplier management skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of transport regulations
  3. Proficient in written and spoken English
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  5. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Supply, Control, and Operations
  6. Candidates able to work in the Senai area will be considered
