Job description

Formulate and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories that align with the company’s procurement objectives.

Evaluate market trends, supply chain dynamics, and supplier performance to uncover opportunities for cost savings, supplier rationalization, and process enhancements.

Perform in-depth cost analyses to identify potential for cost reductions, operational efficiencies, and value-added services.

Drive cost-saving initiatives and monitor progress to meet budget and savings goals.

Spearhead supplier negotiations to obtain advantageous contract terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.

Ensure contracts are well-crafted, legally compliant, and routinely assessed for performance and adherence to standards.

Keep abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and trends in indirect procurement.

Partner with operations and finance teams to design and deploy an MRO inventory management system.

Contribute to project teams and initiatives requiring indirect procurement expertise.

Foster and sustain robust relationships with key suppliers in the indirect procurement space.

Work with suppliers to address disputes and secure favorable terms and conditions.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical principles.
