Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incident tickets according to SOPs, including incident acceptance, recording, routing, escalation, tracking, and summarizing.
- Execute change tasks as per change plans, including equipment installation/removal and structured cabling.
- Register and manage the entry/exit of data center personnel and supplier equipment.
- Supervise on-site construction and enforce safety regulations within the data center.
- Monitor data center equipment, perform regular inspections, report faults, and participate in 24/7 shift rotations.
- Manage the receipt/dispatch of equipment and assets; ensure accurate tracking of all inventory including consumables.
- Assess data center utilization and suggest optimization improvements, driving implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of data center infrastructure such as power distribution systems, UPS, diesel generators, HVAC, pumps, cooling towers, and precision air conditioning.
- Monitor power and environmental control systems for anomalies.
- Respond to alarm signals, conduct preliminary assessments, and escalate as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on power and infrastructure systems.
- Support senior engineers with professional maintenance work.
- Participate in emergency response and repair operations.
- Maintain organized records of operations, blueprints, materials, and tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
3. IT Asset Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of assets used in the supercomputing data center.
- Establish and enhance asset management systems and workflows.
- Ensure strict execution of client-defined asset management processes.
- Address and resolve daily issues and incidents promptly.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Act as a liaison with clients to handle asset-related queries and provide support.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team for asset receiving and inventory accuracy.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field
- Strong interest in data center operations and IT infrastructure
- Willingness to work on-site and on rotational shifts if required
- Eager to learn and work in a team-based environment
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills
