Job description

We’re Hiring: Assistant Finance Manager | Klang, Malaysia

Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join a dynamic team based in Klang!

Budget of Role: Up to RM8000

In this role, you'll: Drive accurate and timely financial reporting

Oversee finance operations and lead a small team

Manage working capital — cash, inventory, receivables, and payables

Perform cost analysis to optimize margins and support strategic decisions

Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process

Manage asset tracking and ensure compliance with internal and statutory requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • Solid understanding of IFRS and Malaysian accounting standards
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (especially in manufacturing)
  • Strong skills in cost accounting and inventory management
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and Excel (Power BI is a plus!)
  • Ability to work across departments and provide actionable financial insights
  • Exposure to external audits, ideally with Big 4 experience

You'll also play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance, liaising with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory bodies.
