Senior Account Executive

• Handle full set of accounts with preparation of monthly Management Account Report.
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• To maintain year-end account closing, finalize accounts and update audit schedule.
• Preparing all the accounting schedule.
• Forecast and maintain cash available for all accounts payable and ensure the payment term.
• Cashflow Management, planning and control.
• Update fixed assets listing and small value assets.
• Providing support and guidance to the broader finance team, as well as liaising with other departments as needed.
• Handle tax-related tasks, including tax estimation, annual tax computation, SST, Withholding Tax, and other tax matters.
• Liaise with Auditors, Company secretary, and Tax agents.
• Knowledgeably answering audit queries. Knowledge in all accounting procedures and principles.
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting, costing, and work closely with the Operations & Project teams in analyzing margins, variances, and cost analysis. Present monthly financial report to management.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar senior-level accounting role, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Possess at least a Higher Diploma in Accounting or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent is an advantage).
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, accounting software, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and standards within the industry.
